A longstanding part of The Gap community, South Family Jewellers has been known for quality and trust for many years. In 2024, Michael and Janine proudly became the new owners, bringing with them over two decades of experience in the industry. Though not originally from The Gap, they are delighted to now be part of the community and are committed to giving back by supporting local schools and events.

At the heart of our store is a fully equipped workshop, where jewellery is designed, created, and restored on site. Master jeweller Angel Maya Loaiza, with more than 20 years of experience, works with both gold and silver to craft bespoke pieces, reset gemstones, and restore treasured heirlooms. From one-of-a-kind engagement rings to the careful restoration of family keepsakes, every piece is handled with care, skill, and attention to detail. We also purchase gold and silver, whether it’s jewellery, scrap, or pieces that are no longer worn, giving new value to items you may not use anymore.
